This privacy policy sets out the ways and principles for the processing of personal data in connection with www.industrialtech.cz and related services.

I. Introductory provisions

1. The Administrator is the operator of the www.industrialtech.cz website and related services and other projects on the Internet, collectively referred to for the purposes of this Policy as the "Services".
2. In operating the Services, the Controller processes personal data in the manner described in this Policy.
3. Data Subject means natural persons who use the Administrator's Services.
4. Processing of personal data means a single act or a set of acts that systematically occurs when dealing with personal data. This includes, in particular, their collection, organisation, storage, retrieval, use, sorting and classification in databases, blocking, etc. The processing of personal data by the Administrator is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation in the field of personal data protection, namely Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the EU, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.
5. The Controller processes the name and address data of the subjects it obtains for the purposes defined in Article II of this Policy. The subject of the controller's activity and the subject of processing of personal data are not special categories of data.

II. Purpose of the processing of personal data

1. The purpose of the processing of personal data is to use the services provided by the Controller. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is a concluded contract, order or consent given by the data subjects.
2. The Controller processes personal data to the extent to which they have been provided to the user and only for the purposes stated above (monitoring content from the website, purchase and use of the Controller's services, e-mailing based on the consent of data subjects, communication with data subjects).

III. Retention period of personal data

1. The controller shall keep the personal data communicated for the following period:
   • In the case of a contractual relationship, for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the following 5 years after its termination (for possible claims or other claims of the parties).
   • For a period of 5 years after the last use of the service by the user.
   • Or until the user withdraws consent or similar action by which he/she withdraws the possibility of his/her personal data being processed by the Controller.
   • If you post a comment, the comment and its metadata will be retained indefinitely. The data is retained for the purpose of automatically recognizing and approving all subsequent comments, rather than holding them in the moderation queue.
   • For users who register on this site, we also store the personal data they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators may also view and edit this information.

IV. Rights of data subjects

1. The controller guarantees the following rights to data subjects, which are based on the Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data:
   • Data subjects have the right to access their personal data.
   • Data subjects have the right to rectification, completion or erasure of their personal data.
   • Data subjects may request the restriction of the processing of their personal data.
   • Data subjects have the right to request that their personal data not be subject to automated individualised decision-making (including profiling).
   • Data subjects have the right to object to the processing of their personal data.
   • Data subjects have the right to data portability in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
   • Data subjects have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time.
   • Data subjects are entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz), located at Pplk. Sochor 27, 170 00 Prague 7, e-mail posta@uoou.cz, mailbox qkbaa2n.

V. Comments

When visitors post a comment on this site, the information displayed in the comment form is collected, as well as the visitor's IP address and the user agent string defining the browser, which helps to detect spam.

VI. Cookies

1. The Administrator uses cookies in the operation of its services on the Internet. These are small text files that websites send to the browser when they capture them. The main purpose of cookies is to store data for advertising systems, to track visitor behaviour on the site, to help fill in forms, to facilitate logging in, etc.
2. The controller expressly informs data subjects that their web browsers support the management of cookies. Within their settings, it is possible to block cookies, completely disable their use, delete them or allow them only for individual websites or services. The controller recommends that data subjects consult the help of their web browsers to ensure that their cookies are managed.
3. If you post a comment on our site, you can allow your name, email address and website to be stored in cookies. In this way we try to increase your convenience, when you post a new comment you will then not have to fill in this information again. These cookies will have a lifetime of one year.
4. If you visit our login page, we will set temporary cookies to verify that your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will be discarded when you close your browser.
5. When you log in, we will also set several cookies to store your login details and to set your screen display. The login cookies have a lifetime of two days and the display settings cookies have a lifetime of one year. If you confirm the "Remember me" option, your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

VII. Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, maps, etc.). Embedded content from other websites is treated in the same way as if the visitor had visited another website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking from third parties, and track your interaction with this embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that website.

VI. Final Provisions

1. The controller uses processors, including processors to ensure the technical operation of its services, when processing data for the purposes defined above. The controller shall, upon request, inform the data subjects of all current processors it uses for the operation and technical support of its services. The controller has ensured that these processors guarantee the protection of personal data to at least the same extent as it guarantees itself by these principles and obligations under the law.
2. Visitors' comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service that may be located abroad. In the course of its activities, the controller does not transfer personal data outside the European Union.
3. The Controller reserves the right to change them in the event of changes on the part of the Controller or legal regulations in this area.
